YOU CAN WATCH THE RECORDING OF THE “GOOD NEWS” CLIMATE STORIES\, SECTION OF THE MEETING HERE: \nJoin CALL on March 6th at 10:00 a.m. for a very meaningful learning opportunity on ’’Approaching the Climate Emergency with Courage & Activism’’ where we will ponder the question\, ’’are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed by the climate emergency and what can we do about it?’’ Together we will acknowledge and validate the collective psychological and emotional needs of individuals who want to act but are struggling to find their path in the face of climate denialism\, misinformation and inaction. We will explore “good news” stories to boost our sense of hope and commitment and process our feelings with compassion and understanding. DESCRIPTION:THIS MEETING HAS ALREADY OCCURRED. \nJoin us on March 20\, at 10:00am ET for our monthly Climate Advocacy Interest Group meeting. \nWe’ve prepared some information and some podcasts to listen to\, so we can consider some questions for discussion at the meeting.  It will continue on our theme of better understanding the energy landscape in Ontario. \nMany of you may know that the government is committed to a nuclear path for Ontario as the ongoing base load of our electricity supply. There is significant opposition to this strategy and Professor Winfield from York University has much to say on the topic.
