- Introduced Canada’s first comprehensive national Emissions Reduction Plan, providing a detailed roadmap to reduce GHG emissions.
- Helped strengthen carbon pricing, modernize the Canadian Environmental Protection Act and for the first time formally recognized a right to a heathy environment in law.
- Helped advance Canada’s commitments under the Kunming-Montréal Global Biodiversity Framework.
- Saw emissions drop to their lowest level in 27 years.
