Biidaasige Guided Walk June 5th, 2026 – Join Us!

Join us on Friday June 5th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for a guided nature walk at Biidaasige Park in Toronto.
Discover this sweeping green space that lines the new mouth of the Don River. It is the largest park to open in Toronto in a generation and the first public space to open on Ookwemin Minising a 39.6 hectare (98 acres) artificial island in Toronto’s Port Lands. The park was built as part of an innovative approach to flood protection and offers exciting opportunities to observe Toronto’s biodiversity.
About the Host: Your experience will be led by avid hike leaders and nature enthusiasts Judy Sheridan and Joanne Hunter.
